Kia ora my name is Jayde and I reside in the beautiful garden city of Christchurch, New Zealand!
Through my own pregnancy and postpartum experience, I have found a keen interest in teaching birth education, supporting mamas in The Golden Month, and becoming a women’s health massage therapist specialising in fertility and postpartum massage.
When I became pregnant, I struggled with anxiety and fear. The thought of birthing terrified me. Thankfully, I was introduced to Hypnobirthing Australia, which changed my mind set and prepared me for a birthing experience of a lifetime that was positively empowering, drug-free, and beyond all expectations.
Mama Whānau has given me the blessing to provide services that help mama’s feel grounded in their pregnancy, present in their birth and supported during their postpartum.
I look forward to meeting you!
Ngā mihi nui,

Meredith believes that birth is a rite of passage and a transformative experience no matter how you give birth. This is why preparation in the form of knowledge is so important.
Your birth should be a beautiful, empowering and positive experience. The birth of my daughter showed me that there’s a club called Motherhood that I didn’t know existed and I want everyone who joins that club to feel like their decisions and voice were respected in the process.
Meredith and her partner Mat attended a Hypnobirthing Australia course (starting on Valentine’s Day of all days!) and despite Meredith being an avid reader of pregnancy and birth books, there was still so much that both of them learnt. Meredith went on to use the hypnobirthing tools in her labour. Firstly by ignoring labour for as long as possible, then dancing with the surges, listening to the visualisation tracks, using optimal positioning and finally using the breathing techniques to bring Audie earthside.
Meredith is passionate about sharing what her family experienced – being prepared, informed and excited. She believes in evidence-based decision making that aligns with the mother and her birth partner’s values and needs.
Meredith’s classes will get you excited for your upcoming transformative birth. She would love to help you have a positive birth to remember.
